If you are looking for the warmest fleece coat you could buy then look no further than the Regatta Sigma Heavyweight Fleece. This coat was designed to keep you warm and snug indoors during the depths of winter. The fleece fabric used is called the 380 series referring to the fabric weight of 380gsm. Considering that winter clothing starts at 300gsm, this is heavy, substantial, and oh, so snug, material. Just add the cosy fire and the glass of wine. Fleece is named after the coat of a sheep but the fleece on the Regatta Sigma Heavyweight Fleece is made of polyester. The fibers are cut on the surface giving you that soft to touch pile texture. These cut fibers trap air which, in turn, keep you warm. The fleece has anti-pilling qualities which prevent pills, also known as bobbles or fuzzballs.
