DuPont™ Tyvek® 500 Hood PH30L0 is designed for use with Tyvek® protective apparel to provide enhanced protection for exposed areas of the head and neck against hazardous substances. Made from flash-spun high-density polyethylene, it offers an excellent balance of protection, durability, and comfort for a wide range of industrial applications.
FEATURES
• Stitched internal seams with a wide yoke for improved coverage
• Elasticated face and neck opening for a secure fit
• Breathable to air and water vapour while repelling water-based liquids and aerosols
• Excellent barrier against fine particles and fibres down to 1 micron
• Ultra-low linting and silicone-free material
• Antistatic treatment on both sides
• Suitable for pharmaceutical handling, chemical protection, spray painting, general maintenance, and clean-up operations
• Designed to provide partial body coverage and should be worn with appropriate PPE as required by the hazard assessment
