The Dickies Proban Coverall conforms to two safety standards: EN531 and EN470.
EN531 is the standard for non-firefighting clothing designed to protect the wearer against heat and flames. Please note that although tested to be flame resistant the Dickies Proban Coverall is not firefighting gear.
The other standard is EN470 which concerns protective clothing for use in welding and allied processes. This standard includes test processes that require clothes to protect the wearer from molten metal splash, short contact with flame, and UV radiation.
The Dickies Proban Coverall is made of 100% cotton drill. Cotton drill uses a twill weave to make a very strong and dense heavyweight fabric. It is a utility fabric ideal for work clothes of this type.
The coverall has reinforced stress points for durability.
Utility is provided by several pockets: two chest pockets, side swing pockets, back pocket and rule pocket.
