Founded in 1950, Dunkin’ Donuts has grown over the last half a century to now be considered one of the largest donut and coffeehouse chains in the world. With over 15,000 restaurants in more than 37 different countries, the company now achieves an annual turnover in excess of $7 billion. However, despite having thousands of restaurants globally, the first UK Dunkin’ Donuts restaurant for more than 20 years opened at the beginning of 2014.
Workwear Express were approached by Dunkin’ Donuts to produce a range of printed t-shirts to celebrate the official launch of their first UK store in London. The t-shirts needed to be comfortable, and fashionable with a colour scheme that compliments the colours used within the design perfectly. Due to the fact that they were needed for a store opening, Dunkin’ Donuts required all of the t-shirts to be produced within a specific timeframe.
Once we received the design Dunkin’ Donuts wanted on the t-shirts, our artwork department created a proof for their approval allowing them to see how the design would potentially look on the selected t-shirts. Once Dunkin’ Donuts were happy with the final garment layout, the t-shirts were printed using our in-house screen printing facilities and then packaged for delivery, ensuring they reached their destination with plenty of time to spare before the launch.
Since producing the t-shirts we have also provided a number of jackets and shirts, embroidered with the Dunkin’ Donuts logo that have been used as part of the staff uniforms for those working within their UK stores.
