Dallaglio RugbyWorks is a skills development programme set up by England rugby legend Lawrence Dallaglio. The programmed aims to provide sustained education, employment or training to teenagers who are outside of mainstream education. Using the values of rugby to help develop a wide range of essential skills, Dallaglio RugbyWorks provide structure, support and a pathway to the future for young people who have been excluded from mainstream education.
Founded over 9 years ago, the programme has been a huge success. Compared to Alternative Provision sites, young people benefitting from the help of Dallaglio RugbyWorks are 3 times more likely to pass a Maths & English Level 2 and twice as likely to still be in education, employment and training.
Dallaglio RugbyWorks have been a regular customer of Workwear Express on many occasions, however one of their most recent orders came in October 2018. This time, Dallaglio RugbyWorks ordered a large number of Gildan t-shirts, all complete with the Dallaglio RugbyWorks logo printed on the front and back, including the Dallaglio “8” logo on the back. A variety of colours were required as Dallaglio RugbyWorks prepared to host Regional Winter Rugby Tournaments held up and down the country.
The tournaments are a fantastic opportunity for young people to play sport on a competitive level. Although many are usually new to the sport of rugby, the tournaments always see young people keen to get stuck in.
The week after Dallaglio RugbyWorks placed their order, we were happy to hear that they had received their Gildan T-Shirts and they were ecstatic with the results, however they were not surprised. As RugbyWorks have made numerous orders with us before, the t-shirts came out just as they had expected and lived up to the standards we have provided them with before. The standards we set with every order.
Workwear Express are delighted to help out a fantastic programme like Dallaglio RugbyWorks and we hope that they turn to us for all of their clothing needs in the future as we continue to meet the high standards that they expect from us and we expect from ourselves.
