Alice House Hospice is an incredibly admirable charity which ensures people affected by a life limiting illness or the death of a loved one receive the care, comfort and support they need and deserve. Based in Hartlepool and East Durham, Alice House provide a unique range of services and demonstrate integrity and professionalism at all times to make a vital difference to the lives of thousands of families each year.
Alice House Hospice initially approached us and we were more than happy to go above and beyond for such an amazing charity – completely free of charge! Alice House wanted some beanie hats for their staff and some t-shirts for the upcoming 11th annual Santa Fun Run. Both were in a warm purple and both were customised with the Alice House Hospice logo; print for the t-shirts and embroidery for the beanies.
The beanies were handed out to all staff who represent the hospice, from health care assistants, maintenance staff to van drivers who collect donations and even the bus driver who collects social day patients. The hats were also given to social day patients to ensure that they are safe and warm on arrival to Alice House and on their journey home.
We were overjoyed to hear the donated beanies were greatly received from staff and patients alike:
"Thanks to Workwear Express for their generous donation of Hospice branded hats and t-shirts for our staff and volunteers to wear. Top quality goods and lovely company to deal with."
Jen, Fundraising Manager
Meanwhile, Alice House loved the look of the t-shirts and they are all ready to go for the Santa Fun Run which takes place on 2nd December 2018. The run (or walk if you prefer) is on a short route which takes places in Ward Jackson Park, Hartlepool. Anyone can enter, with the aim being to raise as much as possible Alice House Hospice so they can continue their incredible work.
Alice House Hospice have been so impressed with our products and services they have already spoke of their desire to work with us on other occasions. We look forward to working with them again in the future so we can help out in any way we can.
