Workwear Express has worked with Capital FM to produce a number of promotional T-Shirts for the Summertime Ball 2013.
The Capital FM Summertime Ball with Vodaphone took place Sunday June 9th at Wembley Stadium, with international superstar Justin Timberlake as the host. The lineup this year featured the likes of Robbie Williams, Olly Murs, Taylor Swift and The Wanted. First starting in 2009, the event has grown year on year to become one of the UK’s premier music events.
Previously held at the Emirates Stadium, home of Premier League football club Arsenal FC, the event moved to Wembley Stadium in 2010, an iconic stadium that has become a focal point for sporting events and concerts for many years with the likes of Muse, Coldplay and Foo Fighters all performing there since the new stadium opened in 2007.
As one of the UK’s leading printed t-shirt suppliers, Workwear Express were approached by Capital FM to produce a number of t-shirts to help promote the up and coming music event in London. Each of the t-shirts were required to have the Summertime Ball logo as a large print on the back, as well as a smaller print on the front.
The logo was applied to the garments using Workwear Express’s direct to garment facilities. Carried out by the Durham based company’s in-house team, the direct to garment process works similar to an inkjet printer, printing a digital design of the logo directly on to the t-shirts.
The work with Capital FM’s Summertime Ball is just another one of Workwear Express’ high-profile clients, having previously worked with MTV’s reality TV shows Geordie Shore and The Valleys, as well Big Brother and worldwide production company, Endemol.
