Workwear Express has helped the National Army Museum in their aim of educating and informing the public on the British Army, both modern day and historical.
We provided the museum with a number of volunteer t-shirts to be worn when running events. The British Army Museum employs a number of volunteers to help with their front of house visits, educational support, administrative roles, fundraising, curatorial work and special events.
The idea behind the volunteer initiative is to give volunteers a wealth of practical experience of working within a museum. Many of the volunteers in the past have gone on to gain further work experience, phD placements and paid positions within the museum.
The designs were applied to the t-shirts using our in-house screen printing facilities. The t-shirt included the term word “volunteer” vertically down the left-side of the front of the t-shirt and horizontally across the back. The British Army Museum was then applied to both areas of the garment.
