Workwear Express now offer no minimum order for printed T-shirts thanks to their new Direct to Garment T-shirt printer.
We can now print full colour designs onto T-shirts with no set up fees, no design constrains and a fast turnaround from as little as 1 T-shirt per design.
By investing in a DTG machine, Workwear Express has increased T-shirt production capacity to 2,000 T-shirts an hour.
Direct to Garment printing is the latest technology in T-shirt customisation.
Much like an ink jet printer, the Direct to Garment machine prints a digital design directly onto a garment with specially formulated inks which are set with a heat press. A digital design is output straight from a computer and onto the garment via the DTG printer.
Although screen printing has always been the most popular method of printing T-shirts, Direct to Garment printing is now a cost effective alternative.
Screen printing is often too expensive to produce small quantities of T-shirts and complex designs because of the set up costs. Unlike screen printing, DTG does not require any artwork separation, films or screens so there are no set up costs. This means it is much cheaper to print multicolour designs and smaller quantities with a DTG printer.
As a result of this, Direct to Garment printing has the advantage of having no minimum order. When screen printing T-shirts, it is not cost effective to print less than 20 T-shirts per design. However, with DTG printing, Workwear Express can print from only 1 T-shirt because there are no set up costs for the customer.
This means that Workwear Express can now cater for customers looking for smaller quantities of T-shirts and one of prints. There is a huge demand for small orders of printed T-shirts for gifts, hen and stag parties, holiday T-shirts and more.
Direct to Garment printing offers almost unlimited possibilities for design. There are no limits on colours which means there are no design constraints.
Direct to Garment printing works by replicating an exact digital design, which means it is possible to print photographic images clearly onto T-shirts with a DTG printer. Direct to garment printers can also print gradient colour and shading which is not possible with screen printing.
One of the biggest advantages of DTG printing is that it produces a high quality finish. Direct to garment printing works by printing directly onto the garment so that the ink soaks into the fibres. This produces a durable print that doesn’t peel or crack when washed and worn.
With the addition of a Direct to garment printer, Workwear Express can now offer you more choice for your printed T-shirts. Whether you’re looking for one printed T-shirt or 10,000 we can print any logo or design with screen printing or Direct to Garment printing.
Screen printing is still one of the most popular methods of T-shirt printing at Workwear Express because it is a quick and cost effective option for large volumes of printed T-shirts and simple, block colour designs. However, if you need smaller orders and complex designs, Direct to garment is ideal.
As expert T-shirt printers, Workwear Express can decide which method is the best for your requirements.
