Since its humble beginning as a Tyneside bakery over 70 years ago they now sell to a million customers a day through 1,500 stores.
Greggs needed a uniform for their 14,000 plus staff across the UK. The uniform brief was to portray a professional and consistent image whilst being suitable for use in the individual department’s conditions (bakery, retail, transport or cold store).
Due to the large volume of staff, uniform ordering needed to be a simple and efficient process which can be controlled by central personnel but used by individual branches.
From the initial brief we took part in project meetings and wearer trials to ensure the bespoke design of the uniforms would meet their needs.
Once ready to launch the new uniform we setup Greggs on our Managed Accounts service which includes a dedicated account manager, assigned warehouse staff, next day delivery to store and a bespoke online account management system.
